Uplift x VW FAQ
Q: What happens if I am a current member at Uplift?
A: Uplift members will be receiving emails with instruction on how to proceed based on their membership type. Most members will simply have to fill out a new waiver and fill out a VW membership contract signifying which membership option they want. They can do this in person or via the online form included in the email.
Q: What about other prices like day passes and punch cards?
A: We will use Vertical World prices for all passes, which in most cases bring the cost of entry DOWN
Q: What are the updated prices?
A: Uplift will adopt all Vertical World prices, with the exception of the Uplift Only membership option. For only $72 per month, people can climb at just that location. For full access to all VW facilities, it is just the normal VW and current Uplift rate of $92 per month.
Q: What if I have an Annual Membership?
A: All annual memberships will be honored through the end of their term. If you purchased a Regular Annual Membership, you’ll receive a VW All Access Membership. If you purchased a Discounted Annual Membership, you’ll receive an Uplift-only membership.
Q: What if I have a Link Up Membership?
A: You don’t need to do anything! Our most recent billing was prorated to April 26.
Q: Why is the Youth/Student Membership going away?
A: Our Uplift-only membership is at a lower price than the old Youth/Student membership, so you’’ll be saving money for the same gym! Or, get your top-rope/lead on during the weekends with a full All-Access membership.
Q: Will I have to pay the VW Initiation Fee?
A: No way!
Q: What if I bought a private lesson at Uplift prior to this transition
A: VW will honor all purchased private lessons bought. However, they can only be scheduled at the Uplift location.
Q: What happens to my Uplift Gift Card?
A: All gift cards will be honored at any VW location. Please give gift card information to any front desk associate to obtain a VW gift card to hold or use the balance.
Q: Do punches and day passes transfer?
A: Yes, punches bought at Uplift or VW can be used at any location.
Q: Does the recent VW 6-month pass sale work at Uplift?
A: Yes, all VW passes work at Uplift.
Q: What is happening to the Uplift brand?
A: It will stay alive and well!
